Acura notched a second-place start in qualifying for Saturday's 74th running of the Twelve Hours of Sebring.
Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian's Tom Blomqvist set a laptime of 1:46.262—just one tenth of a second off of the pole position time—to place his #60 Acura ARX-06 on the front row of the grid for the second IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race of the season.
Blomqvist will be joined behind the wheel by Colin Braun and six-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion Scott Dixon. Braun is a three-time Sebring winner (2014, 2016, 2021), while Blomqvist and Dixon are still looking for their first victories in the Florida 12-hour classic.

Quotes
Tom Blomqvist (#60 Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian Acura ARX-06) qualified second: "It was a very good result to put the #60 Acura on the front row. It was actually a really difficult session with the wind conditions and the tires—it was hard to put everything together, to be honest. I only had grip for one lap before it started to drop off, so I only had one real chance at it and I pushed pretty hard. There were some pros and cons in there, but when you're only a tenth off, you look at all of the areas where you could have potentially done a better job. Second place is good but it's not the most important thing, the bigger task is tomorrow. Let's see how we race!"
Renger van der Zande: (#93 Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian Acura ARX-06) qualified ninth "It was a pretty disappointing qualifying result for us. I missed the peak of the tire a little bit and after that it was a bit of survival out there. Overall, qualifying doesn't really matter in such a long race, but when looking at Tom's lap, it shows the car is fast. I think our #93 Acura in general is very good in qualifying typically, so hopefully in the race we have the pace."
