The editors at Car and Driver have honored 10 Honda models with 2025 "Editors' Choice" awards, recognizing each vehicle as the best in its respective category, and wholeheartedly recommending them to buyers. Honda ICE and hybrid-electric models were recognized across a multitude of segments.
The following Honda models earned 2025 Car and Driver "Editors' Choice" awards:
- Family Sedan: 2025 Honda Accord including Accord hybrid
- Compact Car: 2025 Honda Civic including Civic hybrid
- Sport Compact Car: 2025 Honda Civic Si
- Sport Compact Car: 2025 Honda Civic Type R
- Compact SUV: 2025 Honda CR-V
- Hybrid Compact SUV: 2025 Honda CR-V hybrid
- Mid-Size SUV: 2025 Honda Passport
- Mid-Size SUV: 2025 Honda Pilot
- Mid-Size Pickup Truck: 2025 Honda Ridgeline
- Minivan: 2025 Honda Odyssey
This year Honda has also earned three coveted 2025 Car and Driver 10Best awards for the third year in a row, more than any other brand. Two Car and Driver's 10Best Car awards for the 2025 Accord and Accord hybrid and the 2025 Civic lineup that includes the Civic Sedan, Hatchback, Si, Type R and Civic hybrid models. The 2025 CR-V and CR-V hybrid were also recognized with a Car and Driver 10Best SUV award.
With 95 total awards, Honda is the winningest brand in Car and Driver 10Best history, and the Honda Accord is the most awarded vehicle in 10Best history by a wide margin. It has made the prestigious list an incredible 39 times, including the last 27 years consecutively.
