Honda Marine, a division of Honda Power Sports & Products, announces the launch of the new True 5 Year Limited Rigging Warranty, expanding the scope of its industry-leading Honda True 5 Warranty protection for the complete line of Honda Marine outboards.
The new factory-direct assurance program, fully backed by Honda Marine, extends to customers five full years of peace-of-mind protection on Honda Marine rigging components and systems for new package boat sales or new repower packages made on or after January 1, 2026—blanketing protection for rigging elements including controls, control cables, wiring harnesses, gauges, switches, tiller handles, and displays.

Honda Marine launches the new True 5 Limited Rigging Warranty during the Buyer's Choice Sales Event, which runs through March 30, 2026. The promotion is the company's largest sales event to date—offering the power of choice to outdoor enthusiasts: either instant savings of up to $10,000 on the purchase of select, new Honda Marine outboards; or the no-cost addition of 36 months of the HondaCare® Protection Plan (HPP), extending protection for Honda outboards that starts with the Standard True 5 Limited Warranty to a total of eight years (a value of up to $4,460). In tandem, the Honda Marine division kicks off the 2026 boating season on a strong wave, showcasing its high-performance outboard portfolio, enhanced technologies, customer service offerings, programs and engagements at a number of venues, including the Atlanta Boat Show, Minneapolis Boat Show, and Miami International Boat Show.
With no pro-rating that decreases coverage over time, the Honda Marine True 5 Year Limited Rigging Warranty is fully transferable and offers boaters more coverage for memorable water experiences.
