Phil Hruska is the senior manager of Marketing at American Honda Motor Co., Inc., leading general and multicultural marketing strategy for the Honda and Acura automobile brands, as well as brand and product advertising, regional marketing, Honda dealer advertising associations, and experiential marketing for the Honda brand.

Hruska joined American Honda in 2014 as the manager of National Media Strategy, responsible for national automobile media planning for the Honda and Acura brands, as well as overseeing national media agencies supporting that business.

In 2017, his responsibilities grew to include regional automobile media planning for the Honda and Acura brands in partnership with local dealer ad associations.

In 2021, Hruska became manager of the newly established Media Department, responsible for all Honda and Acura automobile marketing media strategy, which included leading national, regional, multicultural and certified pre-owned media efforts. Hruska also oversaw Honda marketing strategy in the esports, gaming, music and sports segments, aimed at reaching younger car buyers and bringing new and first-time customers into the brand.

In January 2023, Hruska was promoted to senior manager of Honda Marketing, responsible for leading marketing for the Honda automobile brand.

In September 2024, Hruska assumed his current role with the additional responsibility of overseeing the marketing strategy for the Honda and Acura brands. 

Prior to joining American Honda, Hruska held multiple marketing roles across a variety of industries.

Hruska received a B.S. in Marketing from California State University, Northridge.
