Arjun “Jun” Jayaraman

Jun Jayaraman is senior vice president of the Manufacturing Management Center at Honda Development & Manufacturing of America, LLC.  In this role, Jayaraman is responsible for overseeing all Honda auto production operations in the U.S., including the management of Manufacturing Quality, Production Engineering and Power Unit Operations.

Jayaraman joined Honda in 1989 in the Vehicle Quality Department at the Marysville Auto Plant (MAP).

For the next 20 years, Jayaraman worked in various quality areas, including complex analysis and new model introductions.

In 2010, Jayaraman left the quality area to become manager of the Marysville Paint Department, his first assignment in a primarily production-oriented role.

In 2013, he returned to the quality area but soon transitioned to various roles in New Model and Production Operations. This included a stint leading the Performance Manufacturing Center, then the production location for the second-generation Acura NSX supercar, where he supported the introduction of the Acura PMC Edition Models.

From 2020 to 2025, Jayaraman served in leadership roles at multiple Honda facilities in North America, including plant lead at the East Liberty Auto Plant in Ohio, vice president and plant lead at MAP and, most recently, as senior vice president and plant lead at Honda Canada Mfg.

In April 2025, Jayaraman returned to Ohio to assume his current role at HDMA.

Jayaraman is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
